Kenneth R. "Ronnie" Driver, age 73, of Gordo, AL passed away June 23, 2021 DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Center Springs Cemetery in Gordo with Bro. Glenn Kennedy officiating and Skelton Funeral Home directing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Jenkins Driver; son, Chris Driver; daughter, Tracey Robertson (Barry); brother, Lexie Driver; sister, Phyllis Hudson; two grandchildren, K. C. Driver (Avery) and Jackson Driver and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was born March 13, 1948 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Henry Leland Driver and Mildred Elmore Driver. He was member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich with 32 years of service. Ronnie was a veteran of the United State Navy serving aboard the USS Belmont for four years.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pate, Roman Hudson, Seth Hudson, Barry Robertson, Johnny Jones and Don Driver.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 or a favorite charity.
