Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Junkin, age 72, of Gordo, AL passed away December 5, 2022 at Northport Medical Center. Private services were held 11:00 am Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Sandifer officiating. Burial followed in Double Branch Independent Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Junkin and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Junkin; daughters, Amanda Junkin and Dana Junkin; son Chad Junkin (Amanda); brother Kenneth Junkin; sister, Pamela Junkin Hayes (Jody) and three grandchildren, Colt Junkin, Thomas Floyd and Tristan Floyd.
Ronnie was born August 13, 1950 in Alabama to the late Thomas Frederick Junkin and Audine Beams Junkin. He was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church in Echola, AL and a retired project engineer for Phifer Wire with 40 years of service.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Northport Medical Center ICU, Amedisys Home Health Care and Dr. Craig Buettner and staff.
