PICKENSVILLE, Ala. | Ronnie Reed Shaw, age 53, of Pickensville, died April 30, 2015. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., May 6, 2015, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Jones and Rev. Henry Trull officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Shaw; grandparents; father-in-law, Woodrow Mordecai; and sister-in-law, June Mordecai.He is survived by his wife, Sheire Mordecai Shaw; daughter, Christina Shaw; son, Reed Shaw; mother, Minnie Shaw Aldridge; step father, Cois Aldridge; sister, Dottie Parker (Ronnie); mother-in-law, Doris Mordecai; sister-in-law, Sueanne M. Davidson (Gary); brothers-in-law, Melvin Mordecai (Marianne), Mike Mordecai (Teresa), Mark Mordecai, Jerome Mordecai, and Jerry Mordecai (Betty); and a number of nieces and nephews.Ronnie was born April 26, 1962, in Reform, Alabama. He was a member of Pickensville Baptist Church, an employee at McShan Lumber Company, and a lifelong resident of Pickens County. There is so much more the family wishes to say about Ronnie's life, his loves, his accomplishments, and his hobbies, which will be shared at a later date when his memorial service is announced.Pallbearers will be Leon Oglesby, Timothy Shaw, Jeffery Oglesby, Mike Mordecai, Mark Mordecai, and Jerome Mordecai.Honorary pallbearers are Tyler McShan, Hunter McShan, and all employees of McShan Lumber Company, and Pickens County High School Class of 1980.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronnie Shaw Family Benefit at any West Alabama Bank & Trust branch.
