GORDO - Ruby W. Bush, age 85, of Gordo, died October 8, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. The family will hold a private graveside service with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. S. Bush; her parents; brother, Hurbert Walker; and grandson, Chris Barrett.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia E. Austin and Linda A. O'Neal; sister, Bessie Faye McGhee; seven grandchildren, Margaret E. Matyjasik (Richard J.), Teresa N. Eller (Joe O., Jr.), Caroline R. Hudson, Marie Perrigin, Amy Perrigin, Zachary R. Matyjasik and Cameron A. Matyjasik; and five great-grandchildren, Christopher D. Matyjasik, Ashley Frantz (Eric C.), Matthew D. Frantz, Emmerson L. Frantz and Charles M. Frantz.
Ruby was born October 8, 1931 in Gordo, Alabama to the late O. L. Walker and Velma Price House Walker. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Pickens County.
