Samuel Mack Fuqua, age 78, of Ethelsville, AL died May 26, 2026 at Aspire Physical Recovery in Northport. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Ethelsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jordan Lollar officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 pm Monday, June 1, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home in Reform and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jeanie Fuqua; daughter, Lisa Savage and husband, Keith; son, Paul Fuqua; three sisters, Sarah Williamson, Martha Cato (John) and Mary Jane Saucier (Kenneth); two grandchildren, Cole Savage and Zoey Fuqua; nephew, Henry Williamson and niece, Jessica Saucier.

Mr. Fuqua was born August 11, 1947 in Columbus, Mississippi to the late Jessie Ray Fuqua and Vivian Rauscher Fuqua. He was a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church, an employee of the family business, Fuqua Grocery in Columbus, MS and a retired driver for Dowdle Gas Company and several other gas companies. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
