GORDO | Sharon Lancaster, age 67, of Gordo, died March 9, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mike Lancaster and Pat Lancaster; and granddaughter, Chasity Helton.Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Hodo (Andy) of Buhl, Ala. and Wendy Webb of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sons, Anthony Webb (Susan) of Gordo, Ala. and Derek Lancaster (Robin) of Woodstock, Ala.; sister, Rebecca Lancaster Marcum of Buhl, Ala.; brother, David Lancaster (Marty) of Northport, Ala.; sister-in-law, Shelia Lancaster of Elrod, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, Joey Hodo, Casey Hodo, Dustin Hodo, Todd Hodo, Ashley Helton, Crystal Winstead, Serenity Eckhardt, Trinity Eckhardt, Lucas Lancaster, Kinnity Eckhardt, Carson Webb, Hudson Webb and Tucker Webb; and two great-grandchildren.Mrs. Lancaster was born December 4, 1946 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama to the late James Martin Lancaster and Ruth Tilley Lancaster. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a retired employee of Jim Walter Mines.
