Stanley Lee "Stan" Strawn, age 71 of Aliceville, AL passed away August 6, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville with Bro. Larry Potts and Bro. Charlie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service. Stan was preceded in death by his parents; George W. Strawn and Dorothy Wheat Strawn and his brother Larry Strawn.
He is survived by his daughter, Susie Strawn Ezelle and her husband Teddy; two grandchildren, Tatelyn Ezelle and Addison Ezelle and a nephew, Michael Strawn and his wife Lauren.
Stan was born August 30,1950 in Pickens County, Alabama and was Manager for Spiller Furniture in Aliceville with 25 years of service.
Lifelong friends: Ernie Fason, Ted Sisty, Hal McGee, Jimmy Earl Fikes, Tommy Phillips, Doug Fikes and Bill Fikes will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
