Steven Bryan Porter, age 38 of Fayette, AL passed away on January 30, 2019. Funeral services will
be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 03, 2019 at Gordo First Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Powell and Rev. Shane
Housley officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, 6434 Hwy 159, Fayette, AL
with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 from 6 - 8 pm at
the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Porter; his mother, Sue Lindsey and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Clay Porter; his daughter, Addie Grace Porter; his son, Jackson Clay
Porter; father and mother-in-law, Olan and Betty Clay; sister-in-law, Kellie Pugh (Chad); brother-in-law,Kasey Clay (Ashleigh); two nephews, Will and Konner Pugh and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bryan was born October 27, 1980 in Fayette, Alabama. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist
Church and an employee of H&R Agri Power. He was a hard worker and a very loving husband and daddy.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Lindsey, Blake Rogers, Mike Duck, Richard McMillan, Keith Duckworth,
Gavin Cade, Caleb Quarles and Felix Lavender.
Honorary Pallbearers are employees of H&R Agri Power, Thompson Caterpillar and friends in the
Newtonville community.
