Sue Carol Gore of Birmingham, AL passed away January 26, 2023 at Legacy Health & Rehab of Pleasant Grove. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the Gore Family Cemetery in McShan, AL with Rev. Roy Gene Plymon officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Ellis Gore and wife, Patsy; sister, Ruby Ann Gore Joyner and husband, Floyd and uncle, James L. "Buddy" Lancaster.
Survivors include her aunt, Vaudine Lancaster and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Sue was born in McShan, Alabama to the late Marion Pickett "Buck" Gore and Ruby Elliott Lancaster Gore. She was a retired employee of Alabama Power Company.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Mt. Moriah Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Karen Brasher, Treasurer, 106 Woodland Trace, Gordo, AL 35466.
