Taylor Hugh "Bacon" McDaniel, age 27, of Carrollton, AL passed away October 24, 2022 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Lucas and Rev. Scott Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Echo Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, October 26,2022 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harrell Lavern McDaniel and grandmother, Brinda Acker Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Ashlyn Warren McDaniel; son, Chase McDaniel; his parents, Michael "Mike" McDaniel and Tammy Cochran McDaniel; sister, Nikki McDaniel (Cody Burns) and niece, Mackenzie Joyce McDaniel.
Bacon was born January 28, 1995 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was employed by Southern Heating & Cooling in Gordo as a service technician.
Pallbearers will be Cody Burns, Devan Barnett, Bobby Acker, Casey Hill, Joey Martinez, Matthew Brock and Josh Kizziah.
Honorary Pallbearers are Southern Heating & Cooling, Pickens County High School Class of 2013, UAB - TBICU and The Pitts.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Bacon be made to Skelton Funeral Home.
