Joseph Terry Lee, age 75, of Gordo, AL passed away July 23, 2021 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. A private graveside service will be held in Sand Springs Cemetery with Rev. Mike Perrigin officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Monday, July 26, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home of Reform.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Wendy Ponds and Wanda Lee; his parents and sisters, Becky Elmore and Felicia Perrigin.
Survivors include his son, Billy Gerald Lee; two grandsons, Bradley Lee (Brenda) and Brent Lee; three great-grandchildren, Tanner Lee, Oaklyn Lee and Ozzie Lee; brother-in-law, Jim Elmore and a niece and several nephews.
Terry was born March 22, 1946 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Joseph Woodrow Lee and Gracie Hall Lee. He was a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad, a retired truck driver for Hanna Steel and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
