Theda Freeman Clark, age 68, of Gordo, Al passed away October 19, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, October 24, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Damon Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Sunday, October 23,2022 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Freeman; her parents and great-grandchild, Brandon Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Clark; three daughters, Tammy Alderson (Stephen), Lisa Bridges (Denny) and Tangie Freeman; one son, Timothy Freeman (Stacy); two sisters, Drucilla Clark and Joyce Parker; seven grandchildren, Michael Bridges (Taylor), Matthew Alderson, Coley Long, Christopher Alderson, Gage Long, Jax Freeman and David Freeman and two great-grandchildren, Sophia Nichols and EverLeigh Williams.
Theda was born July 21, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Marvin J. Kirby and Joyce Hassell Kirby. She was a member Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a former CNA at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Alderson, Denny Bridges, Matthew Alderson, Christopher Alderson, Michael Bridges and Gage Long.
Honorary Pallbearers are Timothy Freeman, Dennis Bridges, Dr. Julia Boothe, Dr. Anand Pandy, staff of Amedisys Hospice, the Glad Heart Sunday School Class, Jason Clark and wife, Becky, Jeff Clark and wife, Jennifer and Justin Clark and wife, Cassie.
