Thomas Harvey "Tommy" Wilkins, age 81, of Carrollton, Alabama died October 11, 2018 at his
daughter's residence in Coaling, AL. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, October 14, 2018 at
Graham Memorial Cemetery with Rev. James Harold "Jim" Wilkins officiating and Skelton Funeral Home
of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 1:30 - 2:30 pm Sunday, October 14th at Hebron Baptist Church
in Carrollton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty June Wilkins; daughter, Sandy Mims Elmore; his father,
James Porter Wilkins; his mother, Bobbie Hathcox Harbin and his stepmother, Eunice Gray.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah June Sims (Ashley); sons, Randolph C. Mims (Julia) and
Steven Fred Mims (Mandy); brothers, James Harold "Jim" , David, Bruce and Rufus; sisters, Alice, Sharon,
Brenda and Marguerite; grandchildren, Wilson Elmore, Dani Mims, Delilah Mims, Mary Catherine Condra,
Caitlan Oden, Tylor Blakney and Elizabeth June Blakney and six great-grandchildren.
Tommy was born March 27, 1937 in Reform, Alabama. He was a member of Reform First Presbyterian
Church, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and retired from the Army National Guard of Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Randy Mims, Fred Mims, Tylor Blakney, Wilson Elmore, Matthew Wilkins and
Jason Wilkins.
Honorary Pallbearers are former employees of Westinghouse and the Aliceville Unit of the Alabama
National Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donations to a charity of your choice.
