Tiffany Ruth Thompson, age 47, of Ethelsville, AL got the ultimate healing and went to her heavenly home on September 17, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center surrounded by all who loved her. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Arbor Springs Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steven "Steamboat" and Earnesteen McCrackin.
Survivors include her husband, the love of her life, Rufus Thompson; daughters, Christen Perrigin (Nick) and Chelsey Sanford (Justin McGahey); sons Rylan Thompson and Logan Thompson; her parents, Terry and Vickie Underwood; siblings, Karen Lake (Brian), Thomas Underwood (Selena) and Sherry Underwood; grandchildren, Addy and Tinslee Perrigin, Audrey Walker and Timber Sanford and a host of nieces and nephews.
Tiffany was born July 7, 1975 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the President of Pickens County Youth Football League. Her laugh was contagious and she was the family rock who held us all together. This isn't goodbye, it's a see you later.
Pallbearers will be Nick Stewart, Adam Boone, Buddy Oglesby, Demarko Hall, Brandon Sanford and Carter Shelton.
