Tim
Robertson
January 2, 1957 – September 9, 2025
The family of Tim Robertson, 68, of McCalla, shares that he went home to be with Jesus on September 9, 2025. Tim was an incredible husband, loving father, proud Poppa, loyal brother, and devoted friend. He had a passion for Alabama football, but an even greater passion for life, his family and doing for others. His heart lived to serve those in need and truly reflected what it meant to love like Jesus.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Lifford and Virginia Robertson. He is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 46 years, Lynn O. Robertson of McCalla; his daughters, who were his pride and joy, Kellyn Robertson of Northport and Kaley Wood (Chris) of Birmingham; his brothers, Rex Robertson (Lisa) of Holman and Kent Robertson (Alisa) of Northport; his brother-in-law, Tim Oliver (Sherry Crain) of McCalla; and his treasured grandchildren who he absolutely adored, Tallulah, Shepherd, and Marigold Wood.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover, AL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Hinton officiating. Graveside will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Elrod, Alabama. Gratitude is expressed to Skelton Funeral Home in Reform, AL for arranging the services.
Pallbearers will be Stan McCracken, Lawrence Howard, Dwain Templeton, Joe Gilliland, Steve Shaw, and Andrew Oliver. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Benjamin Pearce, Dr. Irina Sigler and the SICU medical team at UAB Hospital, friends of the Skyland Antique Mall, and his dear friends and former coworkers at the Alabama Power Company.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Big Oak Ranch, a place close to Tim and Lynn's heart.
As we cling to the hope of heaven, our hope remains that we would honor his legacy by loving and serving others, cherishing the simple moments this life gives and taking each day as a gift from God. Those who knew Tim knew he would always lead life with two simple things: "we can face tomorrow because HE lives... and Roll Tide."
