Albertina "Tina" Nicolini Jacobs, age 92, of McShan, AL passed away October 3, 2020 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and an infant granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, George Jacobs; daughter, Gloria Davidson (McCoy); son Frank Jacobs (Yong Hui); brother, Danielo Nicolini; three grandsons, , four great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
Tina was born October 25, 1927 in Valduggia, Italy. She grew up in Viareggio, Italy and there she met, fell in love and married George, a military veteran at the end of World War II. They were married 73 years and lived in McShan most of that time.
Tina, as she was known to her many friends, became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1953. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and at one time the Postmaster at the McShan Post Office.
Tina was a very talented person. She learned to speak English, was good at sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, art crafts and a very good cook.
There will be no funeral services held. Arrangements were handled by Skelton Funeral Home of Reform.
