Tina graduated from Jeanerette High School. Most of her adult career was spent in the healthcare food service industry. Her passion has always been showing horses and she competed competitively from 2000-2023. She has been a member of New Salem Baptist Church for several years.
She has always been a living example of God's love and a fountain of goodness, loveliness, and grace for all of those that surrounded her. Her servant's heart was big, pure, compassionate, and loving. Her kindness and gentleness radiated throughout her, and you could always see the sweetness of her spirit in her eyes. Tina handled adversity with such strength and grace and kept a positive attitude no matter what she faced. She was known for her ease in conversation, her contagious smile, and entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her constant nurturing love and faith. Tina had a real zest for life, she loved to dance, bowl, play games/cards, and sports- especially with her Grandson Grayson. She also loved spending time with her family. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten.
"For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down, we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:1,8
Even though our hearts are broken, we are comforted by the promises of God that she is healed and standing at the feet of Jesus. We continue to keep our faith in Him, knowing that one day we will all reunite again. It has been such an honor and privilege to serve and love her and we feel blessed to have had the time we did with her.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gore, Ricky Duffy, Lamond Brock, Mark Durden, Mike Etheredge and Austin Elliott. Honorary Pallbearer is Grayson Beck.
We would like to show our appreciation to Hospice of West Alabama for their outstanding care and special friends and family members who helped support and love us during this time. We could never thank you all enough.
The family will gladly accept flowers and asks that any memorials be made New Salem Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1378, Reform, AL 35481
