REFORM - Thomas M. "Tommy" Elliott, age 70, of Reform, died September 20, 2016, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016, at Reform First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joyce Snyder and Rev. James Elliott, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016, from 9:30- 11 a.m. at the church with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Nan Jones Elliott; daughters, Rebecca Elliott McGahey (Derek), Mary Catherine "Cathy" Elliott; sister, Janet Thrasher (Mike), Dorothy Ruby (Paul); brothers, James Elliott, Jr. (Jane), Bill Elliott (Cynthia); grandsons, Preston Elliott McGahey, Justin Tyler McGahey (Chelsey); great-grandchild, McKenzie Brooke McGahey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Tommy was born January 21, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late James Edward Elliott and Ruby Nell Bobo Elliott. He was a member of Reform First United Methodist Church, a retired CFO for Peco Food, Inc. and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Pallbearers will be Allen Taylor, Jason Cooper, Gerald Gates, Billy Cowart, James Elliott III, John Elliott, Stephen Elliott and Billy Elliott.
Honorary pallbearers are the Hickman family and Peco Food, Inc.
