Tommy Jean Garrett, age 95, of  Gordo, AL passed away January 15, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Private services will be held at Hargrove Methodist Church in Gordo with Rev. Mike Hall officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton D. Garrett; her parents; grandson, Joseph Crowe; two brothers, Morgan Gilbert and Larry Gilbert and sister, Jane Greenwood.
Survivors include here daughter, Barbara Garrett; two sons, Barry Garrett and Tommy Garrett (Susan); six grandchildren, Michael Garrett (Leslie), Barry Garrett (Marsha), Lee Garrett (Michelle) Heath Crowe (Jamie), Brandy Garrett Sims and Jacob Crowe and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Tommy was born October 9, 1928 in Mantee, Mississippi to the late Simon Pink Gilbert and Mamie Hicks Gilbert.  She was a member of Double Branch Independent Baptist Church and a retired LPN.
