Thomas Walton "Tommy" Rogers, age 93, of Aliceville, AL died January 7, 2025 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Panola United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Boothe officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys House Rogers; two stepsons, Wayne E. Harvey and Harold Harvey and stepson-in-law, Gerald B. Cobb.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Harvey (Eunice); daughters, Sylvia Cobb and Karla Howard (Calvin); special stepdaughters, Sherry Harvey and Sandra Harvey Ascew and cousins, James Rogers (Maggie), Fred Rogers, Betty Rogers and Hazel Rogers.
Tommy was born January 16, 1931 in Sumter County, Alabama to the late Walton Rogers and Helen Young Rogers.  He was a farmer, a member of Panola United Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Sumter County.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Allen, Bill Goodwin, Doug Lewis, Keith McClure, Justin Bryan, Terry Johnson and Jeff McClure.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. James Parker, Barbara Jordan, members of Panola United Methodist Church, Tammy Fikes and employees of Tri-County Co-op.
