Tonya Renee Hardy, age 48, of Aliceville, AL died October 12, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville.  Visitation will follow the service.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Sara Nell Jacobs and Martha H. Hester and grandfathers, James L. Jacobs and Marvin L. Hester.

She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Debbie Hester of Aliceville; her daughter, Sonya Renee Stanton of Tuscaloosa; her son, Alexander Stanton of Tuscaloosa; sister, Michelle Hester Murphy (Johnny) of Jacksonville, FL and brother, Christopher Hester (Jennifer) of Tuscaloosa.

Tonya was born September 15, 1978 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and a financial bookkeeper.
