Troy Cecil Smith, Sr., age 91, of Reform, AL passed away May 26, 2024 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating.  Burial will be in Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Smith; daughter, Mary Smith Gulsby; two sons, Troy Cecil "Rusty" Smith, Jr. and Timothy Smith; sons-in-law, Percy Donald Strickland and Cecil Gulsby; daughter-in-law, Ann Smith; his parents and a number of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna Schaffer (Eric) and Teresa Nugent; sons, Gary Smith and Gregory Smith; brother, Woody Smith (Anne); ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Smith was born June 28, 1932 in Manifest, Louisiana to the late Joel Earnest Smith and Nettie Irene Garrett Smith.  He was a member of Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church, a retired truck driver and a veteran of the United States Navy.
