He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Everett; parents, Clair Everett and Annie Rupp

Everett; brother, Peter Everett; sister-in-law, Sallie Everett; and brother-in-law, Aubrey Watson.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Everett of Augusta, Ga.; son, Mark Everett (Yani) of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Rebecca Kitchens (Ron) of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Ari Everett of Tempe, Ariz., and Tara Everett of Columbus, Miss.; brothers, Barry Everett, Clair Everett (Joan), and Tom Everett (Susie), all of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Linda Watson and Lara Long; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a veteran of the United States Navy and a proud American. As an avid fisherman, he and his wife spent time in Canada, Honduras, and all over the United States fishing. Wayne was also an avid golfer and member of Goshen Golf Club. He was a retired member of Steamfitters Local 150 of Augusta and Local 420 of Philadelphia, Pa.
