Wilda Jerome Lee, age 83, of Elrod, AL passed away February 26, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Mike Perrigin and Bro. Stevie Junkin officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Burns of Gordo; two sons, Toby McAteer (Mary) of Gordo and Tony McAteer of Elrod; the father of her children, Billy Joe McAteer; brothers-in-law, David McAteer (Kathy) and Doug McAteer (Brenda); seven grandchildren, Brandi Kizziah (Korey), Brittany Edgeworth (Brent), Bradley Lee (Brenda), Brent Lee, Blake McAteer (Emily), Brian McAteer and Bo McAteer (Megan); great-grandchildren, Mikayla Fields (Jamey), Madison Sutton, Korbyn Kizziah, Tanner Lee, Oaklyn Lee, Ozzie Lee, Avery McAteer, Addison McAteer and soon-to-be, Baby Girl McAteer and great-great grandchildren, Collin Fields, Brayson Fields, Hayden Fields, Macie Fields and Bentlee Fields.
Wilda was born October 7, 1940 in Elrod, Alabama to the late Olen Roscoe Booth and Trannie Robertson Booth. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a retired school bus driver for the Tuscaloosa County School System.
Pallbearers will be Blake McAteer, Brian McAteer, Bo McAteer, Bradley Lee, Brent Lee, Brent Edgeworth, Korey Kizziah and Jamey Fields.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
