William Audell Guy, age 90, of Reform, Al passed away August 24, 2021 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Liberty Baptist Church with his grandson, Tim Guy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgen Lee Guy; his parents; sisters, Ella Mae Prescott and Annie Cockrell and four brothers, Luverne Guy, James Guy, Bob Guy and John Clifton Guy.
Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Guy Cowley; three sons, Frankie Guy (Patricia), Joe Guy and Terry Guy; sister, Betty Jo Driver; four grandchildren, Tim Guy, Joe Guy, Jr., Kim Hicks and Katie Guy; sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
William was born May 9, 1931 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late James Thomas Guy and Bertie Hester Guy. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a retired logger and lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be his great-grandsons and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama.
