GORDO William H. Latham, age 79 of Gordo, died on October 18, 2013 at home. Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday October 20, 2013, at Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Adam Homan and Bro. Terry Kernop officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior and immediately following the service.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald "Bud" Latham.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Latham of Gordo, Ala.; daughter, Susan Dotson (Jimmy) of Savannah, Ga.; sons, Bill Latham (Linda), and Scott Latham (Donna) of Savannah, Ga.; sister, Betty McBride (Leon) of Aliceville, Ala.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews.

Mr. Latham was born December 18, 1933 in Aliceville, Ala. to the late Pooley Latham and Ardelia Ball Latham Porter. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and actively involved in the Men's Sunday school class. Mr. Latham was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 21 years of service in dentistry; he later retired from this profession in Savannah, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Robert Smith, Dale Baines, Matthew Whitehead, James Tilley, Walter Lowe, Tommy Williams, Sammy Bailey, and Rayford Walters.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mallory Burkhalter, Jimmy Earl Crimm, and John Burkhalter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
