Obituary

William Clarence Latham, age 86, of Reform, AL passed away September 15, 2021 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Wesley Burkhalter officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home. The family requests masks be worn to the service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Bolling Latham; his parents; brothers, Lemuel Latham, Earl Latham and Herbert Latham and sisters, Louise Bethone, Mildred Cooper, Alice Ruth Gillespie and Maugene Rozzelle.
Survivors include his sisters-in-law, Ann Latham and Ruby Latham and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Latham was born December 26, 1934 in Reform, Alabama to the late Simuel Latham and Eula Mae McGahey Latham. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Reform and retired owner of an excavating service. William served as a Pickens County Commissioner and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Cooper, Jason Cooper, Mark Cooper, Simuel Latham, Jimmy Bell and Randy Bell.
Honorary Pallbearers are Aliceville Manor Nursing Home and staff and the Department of Human Resources.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to First Baptist Church of Reform, P.O. Box 100, Reform, AL 35481 or Amedisys Hospice, 1300 McFarland Blvd., Suite 340, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406.
