William Oakley "Billy" Jaynes, Jr., age 64, of Ethelsville, AL died January 30, 2026 at his residence.
He is survived by his brother, Steve Jaynes; sisters, Cathy Gregg, Carol Jaynes and Terri Walker; nieces and nephews, Tamara Gregg, Jeremiah Walker, Randi Neal, K. J. Woodhouse and Chelsea Ponds and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Billy was born October 21, 1961 in Pennsylvania to late William O. Jaynes, Sr. and Helen C. Miller Jaynes.  He was employed in construction.
Billy was a fun loving and kind man, who never met a stranger.  He was a free spirit and he lived his life to the fullest.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
