William Sanford "Sam" Oglesby, age 65, of Reform, AL passed away July 22, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. George Shaw officiating. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is in charge of the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felto Oglesby and Dot Sentell Oglesby Oden; brother, Steve Oglesby and step-father, Billy Ray Oden.
Survivors include his sister, Sara Shaw and husband, Homer; brother, Bubba Oglesby; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Sam was born January 29, 1956 in Reform, Alabama. He was a carpenter and a veteran of the United States Navy.
