CARROLLTON – William Irvin "Bill" Trott, age 80, of Carrollton, Ala., died January 10, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. A Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Carrollton Baptist Church with Rev. Wes Jones officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Trott; daughters, Alanna Kearns (Jim), Dawn Auman (Mike) and Rebecca Plautz (Jeramy); grandchildren, Timothy Auman (Adriana), Shelly Welch (Byron), Megan Danser (Justin), Elizabeth Richardson, Michaela Waitschies, Deacon Plautz, Kloey Plautz, Lilly Plautz, Lance Robbins, Taylor Robbins and Korie Robbins; great-grandchildren, Emilee Trott, O'Ryan Welch, Skylar Welch, Alice Danser and Samantha Auman; brother, Allen "Fudd" Trott; sister-in-law, Ellen Wilson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bill was born November 24, 1937 in San Bernardino, California to the late Everette Alston Trott and Ina Mae Rich Trott. He was the retired owner of a steel fabrication company, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Carrollton Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
