Woodrow Ray "Woodie" Trull, age 61, of Gordo, AL passed away August 24, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 27, 2021 at Gordo City Cemetery with Rev. Gene Dawkins, Rev. James Davis and Rev. Terry Billings officiating and Skelton Funeral Home directing. Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation at the graveside. Your prayers, phone calls and cards are deeply appreciated.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Trull of Gordo; his son, Matt Trull (Jenny) of Echola; his daughters, Tasha Trull, Brittney Trull and Haley Trull (Keith), all of Gordo; brothers, Phillip Trull (Diane) of Carrollton and Harold Trull (Anita) of Gordo; sister, Joyce Honeycutt (Wayne) of Sylacauga; nine grandchildren, Cooper Gant, Kingston Trull, Bentley Scott Trull, Chason Rae Quarles, all of Echola, Camdyn Trull, Jacob Nicholson, Kylah Nicholson, Madison Colvin and Maleah Colvin all of Gordo; his mother-in-law, Jean Bailey of Gordo; sister-in-law, Brenda Long (Joe) of Northport and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Trull was born October 13, 1959 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Clifton Trull and Minnie Lou Trull. He was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church and former employee of Weyerhaeuser. Woodie loved to watch his grandsons play sports and loved watching Alabama football.
In addition to flowers the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
