REFORM – Robert M. "Bobby" Shelton, age 82, of Reform, Ala., died January 5, 2016, at his home. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Arbor Springs Baptist Church with his son, Rev. Larry Shelton and Rev. Ralph Windle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe, Roland, Alvin, Rufus and Eugene Shelton; sisters, Berteen Edwards, Edna Plyman, Mozzelle Langston, Inell McGee and Betty Dean; and sister-in-law, Imogene Walters.Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Martha E. Shelton; son, Larry W. Shelton and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Kristin S. McDaniel (Shane); grandson, Kendall Shelton; sister, Nadine Dean (Bruce); sister-in-law, Evelyn Shelton; step great-grandchildren, Elijah McDaniel (Hannah) and Alisha McDaniel; step great-great-grandson, Ryder McDaniel; special family members, Pat Morris, Ginger and Katie Goodwin and Audrey Canterberry; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Mr. Shelton was born July 4, 1933, the 11th of 12 children, to the late Jack and Ina Shelton. He was a lifelong resident of Reform, Alabama and a member and Deacon of Arbor Springs Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired shop foreman for Pickens County Commission. He was anticipating the birth of his great-grandchild to be born to Kristin and Shane McDaniel. Bobby loved God, his family and Alabama football.Pallbearers will be Dale Shelton, Johnny Dean, Hayes Plowman, Gary Shelton, Steve Hutcherson and Mickie McKenzie.Honorary pallbearers are members of Arbor Springs Baptist Church, employees of Hospice of West Alabama, Bernita Latham and Mary Pierce.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Arbor Springs Baptist Church, P.O.
